I know member #'s are over 5000 but how many are actual members.

We only have around 500 'members' on the map site, and some have found their way to the map without even registering here. It's still a PITA, not Mac friendly, but when a newbie joins and puts in all the info, as Johannes did, it gives a nice profile and easy way to contact people by area.

You learn something new every day. All this time, I thought the 914s were made in Osnabrück. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif)

Thank you all for your kind welcome !

Well I am not so good in english and I didn't understood this one :
"Now go out and find some diaphrams for the MPSs"

Answering one of your questions: Shipping a car to France costs about 1000 $ (one way). I don't think you will have any restrictions to drive your car in Europe, but it certainely will cost you less to rent one (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif)
BTW there is no speed limit on some german highways ... That's kool , but be prepared to face some modern BMW, Audi and Porsche cruising at 160 Mph (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/driving.gif)

You can see more and more 914 reimported from California to Germany. I personnaly bought my 1.8 in Germany. It was reimported in 1994.

Want to see my 914 in action and the nice countryside ... I made a small video ...

http://www.914garage.com/videos/yellow_914.wmv

At last two other froggies on this forum ! Salut les aminches ! merci pour l'accueil chaleureux !
