Does anyone know of an adjustible replacement voltage regulator for a 914-6? I have had three in a row be out of spec. I have checked the voltage at with a the dash gauge and two multimeters also, and the regulators are out of whack, not my gauge.

So if anyone has a part number or source for an adjustible regulator I would love to know where to find it.

Thanks.

Call the parts folks a Zims Autotechnic. (817-267-4451). They sell a solid state adjustable voltage regulator that works fine with any alternator on a 914/6.

Ya know...its sad that I have the number for the local p-car parts house memorized....... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/screwy.gif)

Thanks Clay!

I need some 356 parts also from Zims and had been putting off my order so I could forget 2 or 3 things (and pay shipping twice)!
