We had the outside part of Matts try outs at Richardson HS. They used thier baseball stadium. They tested on fielding, base running, and hitting. Nice park 320 to the corners about 350 to center. The players got 10 swings to show what they could do. I think Matt made the team because he hit one out of the park at about 330 (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smilie_pokal.gif) (not bad for 13 years old). Some of the other kids hit deap but none that far. They will not say who they have picked untill after next Sat. They just say to come back or not.
