Idle was set to 1,000 when warm. Whenever I'm slowing down, like when you come to a stop light, the idle hangs at about 1,600. If I release the clutch slightly while stopped, the idle drops right back to 1,000.
My mechanic thinks its the air flow sensor. The AAR has been replaced, all hoses are attached; and, the car runs fine otherwise. What causes the idle to hang ? Is there an easy fix ? or id further inspection required ? Any help will be appreciated, Jim |
