Anybody know the resistance range for the fuel level sender in a '75 914? The gauge I found is for 10-180 Ohms - does this sound about right?

Sheesh, Andy, even YOU can't do a search?

75ohms full, 5 ohms empty (both +/- 10 ohms)

When measuring the stock sender make sure the contacts are super clean. It's very easy to get very different numbers when measuring it.

thanks for the info, i think my sender is gunked up, it sometimes "jumps" and it does it more often the lower the fuel level gets ...
