Is it injected?
Well it can be...I have all the parts but it has twin 34ICTS on it now hooked up with cross bar and all. I also have......a weber progressive with intakes, and twin 40mm dells but no manifolds , cross bars or cleaners? The 1.8 is on a roll around cart with the tranny hooked up , starter, full of oil, dressed, wires, dist, yada, yada. If you require any more set up let me know, I'll handle it. UPDATE!
Everything is a go . 11AM SAT is the time of record for the start. I decided to give my test cart a go and turn the engine over .....She turned over a few times and then whooomp-whooomp , the starter smoked. I'll check around at the local shops for one tomarrow but if ya got a extra I can use one for sure. Helicoil took in the head for the intake bolt problem. Wait till you see my oil cooler set up. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif) Hey at least she turned over. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/jsharp.gif) |

I feel like the count down deal on the TV show Lost.
3,2,1.......beeeeep. Engine is fully dressed , HE's , muffler, ckd tranny oil, ckd engine oil, did some creative engineering on my engine cart. We have hooked up. 1.Timing light. 2. Vacuum gage. 3. Amp/Volts gage. 4. Fuel pump. 5. Remote start. 6. And no starter, F'ing Autozoneheads gave me a starter for a DP1600! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/headbang.gif) I think I got the tools covered. The work stand is at belly button height so we dont have ta bend down to work. If ya need a chunk off a 914 come on....Sawsall party too . Come thirsty cause I got cha' covered. Briscut is marinating in Stubbs right now, coolers are full. Baked beans yum. Come on out and visit awhile , eat drink be merry. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/jsharp.gif) |
