Like riding was a lot of fun (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif)

You have a lot of stuff to remove before you can start putting more stuff on (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/laugh.gif)

Dan,

I read in the rules today that we can still call our own class for GGR. They would call it a "Special" class i.e. S1, S2, S3 etc.....

You should talk to Ken and other 4 banger guys about just doing your own class.

Just a thought.

Ken and I have lightly discussed doing that. Depends on how big a new motor Ken builds. Driving can only get you so far in the HP wars. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif) It just depends on how many 4 banger teeners show for the series this season. You need at least 3 to make a special class.

Mark,
have you had any time to look at some graphics?

Just wondering, no hurry. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif)

Thanks

Thanks Mark.

This gives me some ideas. By the way, the "5" you are using appears to be a dead on match to the Brumos font. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smilie_pokal.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/clap56.gif)

Dan, why not use the same, "number on white circle"?

Like in your current avatar. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/drooley.gif)

That is probably the way I will go. I like the retro look! Since the car is that color it should look good. I don't want the white circle quite as large. Just big enough to give a nice contrasting background for the black 5. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smile.gif)

I took these photos of the Brumos car and traced the 5 in Adobe Illustrator. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif) Took me about an hour to massage it to the point where I was tired of tweaking it and it was good enough.

Thanks Mark.
What I think I would like is a black 5 about 10" tall with a white circle about 12" diameter. Probably at least 3 of them, possibly 4. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smile.gif)

That will look nice.

What's the status on the paint?

Thanks Trekkor, I just need a car to stick them on (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif)

Supposed to be happening as we speak (this weekend). But I have heard this song and dance before.
Saw the painter on Friday and he at least had the L32K (phoenix red) paint. So at least that is positive.
I am going to take a drive over to his shop tomorrow and see if we have any color on the car other than grey (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/sad.gif)

Obviously, I won't be making it to Sears (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/mad.gif)
