My wife has been driving a 97 328i since 1998. We have had two failures, the plastic radiator started leaking and the plastic on the left fuel pump cracked and filled the car with a fuel smell. The car now has 140K miles and is still going stong. My daughter has a 318 with 180K miles. We have only seen minor problems with either car.

lets see...

I have a '98 328i.

I now have about 110K miles. runs great! I get between 27 and 33 MPG. these cars are just about bullet proof. Just keep the oil changed..7 quarts of synthetic...

Some parts are cheap, some very expensive. I have had mine for about a year now. Love it. Wife really loves it.... I did have a '79 320 prior or I never would have looked at bmw's ...

the resale is very good also. all in all, great cars!
