You da MAN (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smilie_pokal.gif)
Since selling my 914 I wanted to attend this years WCC with a 914. My Bro-N-Law has a 74 that's in need of some TLC. When he parked it over a year ago it was smelling of fuel & sputtering. I have offered to get it running in exchange for using it during WCC 06. So, Craig offered to let me use his tow dolly only to find my truck is too high. He stepped up, went & retrieved the car from where it was parked at a shop and brought it out to me. Above & beyond is what it is... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smile.gif) Above & beyond. Won't know Kev, till tomorrow sometime. Battery's chargin now & I'll have to drain the old fuel before sleuthing the fuel leak & attempting to make it run. All the vacuum lines are original. You know, the stuff with the cloth. Who knows, they might still be ok but I doubt it. I'm lookin forward to putter'n again! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/cool.gif) .....b |
