Crapola!!! Was putting the interior back in the car - got to the point to put the ignition switch and wiper and turn signal switch back in. Dropped them in and just nudged the steering column and knew in a second that the steering column lock was engaged (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/confused24.gif) So I set about looking for those keys. Double crapola!!! Keys are nowhere to be found. Now they haven't been used in almost 2 years, and I was sure they were hanging on a hook over my work bench - but after hours of turning the garage and house in general upside down, no freaking keys anywhere. Am I screwed or what??? (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/sheeplove.gif) So here are my thoughts, is there a key code to order a new key??? I can see 150A on the top of the ignition switch. Does that mean anthing. Also thought about getting a lock smith to pick and remove the lock. Ideas??? pulling a door handle is the quickest way to get a key made....sometimes you will find the key code on the cylinder i think...otherwise you can just brind the door handle mech. to a locksmith....i think this will only be a valet key, though. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/dry.gif)

Yeah, think I'll call one tomorrow and just pop it out. Anyone know if there is a key code on the switch? I also heard that maybe a code is one the door locks. Hey, Rich - I'm ready for you and your son anytime now. You up to speed on attaching cables to fresh air box and diverters? How about the wiring to the damn thing? Every wire is separate you know? Also, we can put in master cylinder, speedo cable, throttle cable, clutch cable or any or all of above. I'll buy the beer. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/beerchug.gif)

Rich: lock smith was the way to go. Came over early Sunday morning and picked the lock in less than 5 minutes, pulled out the switch and took it apart and made me a new key. So, we should be good to go for Wednesday. Trying to get the heater, defrost controls ready from the inside to hook up the box under the cowl. Eric, oh Eric!!!
