What do kits cost? It looks nice, does it need a sub structure after all that cutting? are there any around?

too many Questions

It's a nice looking car but what kind of badge do you put on it, Porsche or Ferrari? I think the 904 kit that AA was working on was a better idea. I think they gave up on it, they had one of the unfinished cars for sale about a year ago, I tried to contact them about buying it but they took six weeks to e-mail me back and I had already bought a car. That's customer service. <_<

Reminds me of a Puma (which isn't necessarily a bad thing).

I would be way too embarrased to drive a Ferrari clone/kit car though. I can only imagine pulling up next to a real F-car at a stoplight. Which happens quite regularly around here.

yeah, those nasty geocity popups (IMG:style_emoticons/default/fighting19.gif)

here are the pics, without popups ...
if i understand it right, Pat (p_warren@ix.netcom.com) is selling those molds.
might be nice to snatch them up if the price is right.
take some rusty rollers and put a ferrari skin on them and
take them to the race-track (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

After building one of those cars I wouldn't be able to afford to take it on a racetrack. I'd be curious what he wants for the molds just for entertainment's sake.

Real Dino's come up on Ebay occasionally and at prices that at least put them on my "maybe someday" list (instead of the "crack pipe dreams" list).

Bingo!

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Sorry about that geocities stuff.

My family aquired the Eagle Gt molds from the orginator after a business deal went bad some years ago. We tried to keep the business afloat but times were tough and it fell apart shortly thereafter. The molds have been in storage in a garage ever since. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Someone abmitious enough could go in business producing fiberglass bodies for rusty 914's. Cut off the rust and make a fair sum of $$ I figure.

I'll be at the roadgule event this saturday and I'll try to answer any questions. look for the bald headed guy with the orange 70'

When the EagleGT was new, back in the eighties, I got pictures from the builder. I thought it was a really cool body kit then. It doesn't quite look like a Dino because there are too many dimensional differences, but it would fool a lot of people.
It is very hard to stay afloat in the kit car business.
