The picture is from an e-Bay auction...but the seller did not indicate which car it came from.

Can this be installed in a 2.0l 1974?

QUOTE (DNHunt @ Feb 11 2006, 07:02 AM)
Ricky

I have one of Jake's 2270 kits that I am fueling with Megasquirt ans most of the stock 2.0l D-jet intake system and it is working vry well.

Dave,

I've always wanted to see one of Jakes motors in a 914. I've always wondered if they are actual engines or just add ons to your current engine.

can you show us pictures of it installed??

look forward to chatting with you at the pancake house and talking about my transmission issues...

Startup of a new engine is definitely easier with carbs especially if you want to do it outside of the car (I highly recommend this as it is easier to check for probs)

My best quess is that the right FI will probably not just come along. Either you will have to pay a pretty good hunk of change or do a lot of work yourself. The demands of your engine will be unique. Jake's off the shelf FI will get you started going the right direction, and so will a few others, but, you will still have to pay him or someone to dial it in or you'll have to do it yourself.

Research will help. There is a lot of good info at the MS site and the SDS site
