What you have is a German/Brazillian made fishing weight, as opposed to a US made version of an Italian fishing weight. . Since single dual-throat progressive carbe were never used on any air cooled VW engines, it is an aftermarket adapter you see bolted to the bottom of it. The Cap'n

i was wondering if it might have some application other than for a 914. there are other cars on the planet (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/rolleyes.gif) i realize they're not a prefered application for a 914 for christ's sake. i would'nt even bother trying to sell a progressive here let alone put one on a 914. the fishing weight/float test cleverness was funny about 6 years ago. I've seen the 32/36 on a 2002 BMW and I think it was used on a YUGO seriously!
