when troy (messix) was over today, we looked at the 96 cyls that came with the stinker, the one on the right. then i picked up a 94 that came with the "latest aquisitions" (the pistons with these clys have a flat top, are marked GER., KS, and have #s 094010 with a 1 underneath those #s). the difs are glaringly appearent. the stinker's has thicker fins and the casting is much rougher. the parting line is much more pronouced than the 94 as well. is there a manufacturers marking on oem clys that i haven't found? at this point, i think i will have my machinest, open up the 94s to fit the KBs. i'm really glad i found this NOW!! rather than later.
