There is a fellow Canuck trying to unload a set of Pedrinis that appear to be in good shape. His ad has gone to the recycle bin as has all the other hits on a search. My car may not be worth restoring because of the rust that I'm finding so if I buy them from him I want to be able sell them off without loosing my shirt.

Anyone with recent purchase/sale numbers they are willing to share? Opinions are good too!

$50 per wheel if OK condition, $75-100 if very nice. Pedrinis came in two four bolt styles, part number ending in 00 for early front rotors, and 01 for the wheels to fit the later hub centric rotors, mid '73 and on as I recall. The 01 wheels have more value as they are harder to find. They bolt up to later cars no problem. 00 wheels have to be machined to fit.

Thanks for the heads up on the different versions Greg. I have an early 73 - one of the 'first 1000' group - that would probably be the 00. I've heard the 'hub centric rotors' being used before and confess I don't know what that means. Haynes shows the early front suspension and that seems to be what I have. Is there any obvious differences that I can look for just to be sure.

note the ring/circle near the center of the disc. the earlier style would not have it.

Really they are only worth what someone will pay you for them. Some people do not care for the Pedrini wheels like myself in which case they are worthless, others on the other hand like them and will pay the 50 to 100 per wheel for a nice set.

Pedrinis that I have sold, about five sets, sell for $250 for four. This does not include shipping which is about $15.00 per wheel with no tires.
I recently bought a set of CONCOURS and these wheels are beautiful from a fellow who dropped off a car at CAMP 914 for $250. for five, with perfect new tires.
It all depends on what you want, I personally don't want Rivs. I like Mahles and Fuchs as well as the Pedrinis.

Truer words were never spoken. My wheels are fubar as are the tires. Although the tires have lots of tread, are 20 years old so you know the rubber is dead. I'm pretty neutral on the pedrinis' - more of an empi fan. But this is really a csob project so $50 a wheel sounds pretty good to me. If I have to abandon the project though I need to be able to unload them.

Thanks for the picture k. I'll check out the compatibility before I pull the trigger.

I sold mine on thesamba for $390 with lugs to fund my 5 lug habit.
VW guys will pay more. I listed at $400 right after a guy listed a set for $500.
I got a buyer in a few hours for $350 and then offered the long lugs for the
additional $40. That was 3 months ago.

BTW- the tires were included, but very old.

I got 4 early ones and one late one, should I just have the shop machine the 4 "00" ones to match the "01" one, or is there a spec for the depth and diameter to be machined?
