I guess the Cayman S had more of an advantage than I thought....blew the ZF LSD in my 901(so thats what that noise was). Good news...it's rebuildable. Now the dilemma...Sell the 901(by the way the mechanic said the internals looked perfect) or up grade to the 915 Wevo? (By the way I just bought a rebuilt 915 off E-bay...thought the 901 was terminal). I am appealing to the "smart 914 people" for guidiance! What would you do? Buy a vowel?

You already know the answer... do it right, or do it twice (and this is the 2nd time... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif) )

The 915 plus extra's(wevo parts, shifter, retainer plate, etc ...gets $$$. I know, I know it's the right thing to do. Having trouble finding parts to rebuild the ZF diff? Porsche says not available any longer??? (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/idea.gif)
