This info is over on Early 911S Registry...its full of mystery. I have a set, They are usually about $300.00 a wheel for a decent one. There are Heart and Non Heart Deep wheels in the 6 inch size, They also made a 4.5, and a 5.5 in deep, which are even more money and super rare. The 4.5 size is a 1967 911S wheel, I believe.
http://www.early911sregistry.org/forum/index.php Just search for Fuchs...you may have to register....I think I have a thread there on the matter. |

My 67 911S that I bought in Germany in 1970 had a set of 4.5 X 15 Fuchs. It even had a rare outside temp gauge mounted on the lower left side of the dash.

You can not always trust the part numbers on these wheels...I personally own one, and Harvey Wiedman confirmed, that many early deep 6" wheels carry the 5.5 part number....the 4.5 wheels more than likely will not even have a PORSCHE number, which I have also personnaly seen, do your homework before you buy, and make sure you check for heart or non heart type, as it is very easy to get a mis-matched set...all of this is more than covered on the Early 911S registry forum.
