Of all the stuff, I've done, there was only one that credited my position, and it was listed under another Sean Lee's name, so I had them split it and finally got my own page! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smilie_pokal.gif)
I hope to be adding to the list very soon...cross your fingers... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif) Sean Lee at IMDB.com |

They want $35! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif) Just to post 1 picture! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif)
Since I'm no actor, I'm not in a hurry to add it. Maybe if my "what ifs" payoff I'll add it with a big-ol "I finally got my show on the air" smile. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/tooth.gif) |

You're not a linear guy are you? They seem to be a dying breed. I've been wanting to get some time on a smoke.
edit: just read your company page, so, I see you're nonlinear. This post has been edited by seanery: Feb 24 2006, 12:34 PM |

I use to do assemblys in a CMX linear bay, but now it's all Avid Symphony, and Adrenaline. We are curently upgrading everything to HD, and will be getting a DS, but the Discreet Logic "incindiary" products (smoke, fire, flame etc.) are way outta the budget, even for Paramount. The last job interview I went on they asked if I could run a Sony linear edit controler and Sony HD switcher...Uhh...no (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/blink.gif) -
What do you do now, still a post coordinator? |

Like you, I'm an onliner (mostly). Symphony, MediaComposer, whatever the budget allows. I was on the beta test team for the HDV release of ExpressPro HD. I really would like to learn smoke, etc...I could use the bump in rate (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif) I've been known to offline as well. And I've done graphics for a lot of industrials and a couple USA Net shows.
Actually, I wasn't the post super for Food For Thought. I did about 90% of the offline, but there was a deal done for Matthew to be listed as the editor, so Jon put me down as Post Super, which is cool. I also did the mix for the film. It was my workmix and when they didn't like GlennGlenn's they put mine on the festival master and the master print (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif) It was a fun film, but it was done on the cheap - donated film from Kodak was the tails of unused reels, they didn't want to pay to get and dupes made, and they shot very little, so I couldn't reuse a single frame. Their script super was high or something that day, cause there were all sorts of continuity problems, but it was a good story and I think we cut the hell out of what we had. It went to Cannes in 99, so I was happy. I can actually say I've had a film there (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif) I can't wait to get back there, because there is no work here. What few houses that are here are fully staffed, and somewhat poorly paid, and there's no way I'm gonna cut news. Local channels think any intern can cut (and it shows). |

dude, it actually was a very good film. I'm very happy to have my name attached to it. It's based on a true story and Ron Carey (Barney Miller) & Rudy De Luca who has been in tons of stuff were awesome in it.
This happened to Jon Payton, here's the synopsis. John (Ron Carey's Character) was out fishing with his dad and brother at a paylake. He's not an outdoorsy guy so he decided he'd go to McDonald's to eat while they were fishing. This is where the film starts in. He didn't take much cash with him so he's pulling out every last dime out of his pocket to buy a 2 cheeseburger value meal. He get's his food, finds a table and realizes his hands smell like fish. So he sets the food at the table and goes to the restroom to wash his hands. When he comes back there is a bum sitting at the table eating a cheeseburger. Well, he doesn't have any more cash so he sits down and takes the other cheeseburger. They go back and forth with the fries and the coke, with Ron's character smugly taking the last drink of the coke. They don't speak, it's all facial and body expressions that tell the story at this point. Finally, Ron's character is feeling like he was a generous soul and was proud of himself so he throws the trash away and heads toward the door. Before he gets there he sees his tray of food two tables away. He goes after Rudy's character to apologize and he runs away thinking the guy is crazy and coming after him. It's a good fun short film. |
