Drove up to Everett Wa. this morning in the snow and bought the two 914s from the guy who wouldn't let you start them or look at them. Well it is all in how you talk tot eh guy an dif you are serious. He let me try to start them, they crank. And I got to inspect them before making a purchase.
They were worth the drive and the time.
Anyway I dropped one at Kevins and brought one home. Here are a couple of pics.

Troy I should have, I was on a mission since I had to go to Everett and get one to Kevins, then back and the other to Kevins all before 4pm.
More pics tommorrow. Yes I am going to get both of them running. The blue one may be going to Kentucky, the blue grass state?
Anyway it is a very nice original car with extremely clean interior and the trunks, amazing. It appears to have the original or at least period tires on it. Car was in dry storage for 15 + years. One owner purchased at Humphreys, the Porsche Audi dealer in Everett, Wa.

but that's an extra run to mill creek from portland troy. with #2 at my place, craig can be up and back home in under 3 1/2 hours. we made very good time on the second run up. craig learned why 512, to 167, to 405, to I-5, is the prefered route rather than just doing I-5. having a HOV lane dummy is a good thing. the blue car has one of the cleanest original interiors i've ever seen. nice paint too. the plaid interior in the other one is pretty neat.

Well I found some time late tonight to pull apart the blue car. The interior is crack free and very clean with zero rust.

I real love clean trunks, front and rear. The rubber holders have zero cracks, and the plastic ones are all there. It even has all three of the clear plastic hole plugs in the floor.
