The for sale sign says $450,000. Would you rather have this or a C GT?

We had a really nice day for it but it's just not the same as it was at Dunkels. I found a door handle for my car and had it re-keyed (thanks Mark). There were some nice looking British cars there but who gives a rats ass.

hands down - the 356. Any damned fool can build a super car if you throw enough money at it but the 356 is pure poetry.

Mind you at $450,000 it's all theory.

Its also possible the 356 guy gets a lot of "how much", but since he kinda wants to keep it.. he posts 450k to say how much he'd let it go for (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/laugh.gif)

The 356 for 450K is appreciating in value everyday. That radiator laden Carrera GT is depreciating and it has a freakin radiator!

If it's a factory 4 cam car it's worth (and will bring) 450K.... The last one I worked on brought 410K in 2003, after being purchased 6 months prior for 250!

Its now in Seinfeld's collection after being imported to and then back from Australia....

Different world- Definately not the typical "914 guy" that plays with these cars..

Of course the car that I worked on last was raced at Leman in 1960 and 61 and had all the paperwork- the owners manual was appraised at 20K bucks because it had never been removed from the envelope it came in!

The 3 outlet muffler is for street/track use. Cap the side and remove the 2 center outlet caps and you have almost megaphones. Reverse and it is quiet and drive home mode. John Straub has a similar setup on his 914-GT as do a lot of the R-Gruppe cars.

Jake, even you would take the Carrera GT on the track... you better confess to that! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif)
