its either in dutch or german.. but the story goes: a rich older man (drunk) lend his car to a woman who wanted to try the new supercar.. the result is what you see... the title was: NEVER lend out your Porsche (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/lol2.gif) |

It's a "mass shedding" technology.
They all dump the trans and engine because then there will be less mass directed into the object that they collide with. It minimizes damage done to the objects thwt they hit and to the cockpit. Notice how all the doors are still able to open after an impact with these supercars. It's a good system. That's funny though. See if one of your friends can get a hose for us. |

dude, that's not Swedish, it's Dutch...
this happened two months or so ago in a nutshell, this is what happened: accident happened way past midnight owner of the car gave the keys to a lady he met at a restaurant and said she could take it for a test drive well, I guess she did (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/happy11.gif) car was uninsured too (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/huh.gif) these cars break, just like modern race cars do everything that is not part of the monocoque just shears off to absorb the impact |

let's just say the odds of being abducted by a limo full of hot, blonde, swedish, 18 year old stripper girls at 4am during a hot midsummer night stroll in stockholm are about 1000 times better than seeing a 914 drive by your hotel the day before ...
