Anyone know the exact interior mirror placement for a '74?

I assume dead center on the vertical plane, but how far down from the top of the windshield to the center of the mirror mounting bracket?

I've seen it all over the place. Mine is too high, so half the mirror is taken up by the pad on the targa bar, at best. Someday, I'll pull it off and move it lower. Position it to suit your height (and the height of your seat).

Mine is a 75, but I wouldn't think it would be different than a 74....

The bottom of the mirror mount is 6" below the top of the glass. NOT centered BTW... it's a couple inches to the right of center. Just like me! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif)

I'm with James... sit in the car and position it where it gives you the best visibility!
