I have to reattach all the heater/defroster control cables in the front compartment - wonderful job with out pulling the gas tank. Already I've broken a couple of the spring clips that hold the outer housing in place and PP doesn't sell new ones. Is there some trick to putting these on?
I had a couple of different style clips that are used at the control lever end of the cable (off a 911) that bolt on with one nut & bolt instead of springing in place but there not as good for side pull since they look like they can rotate with the cable id they get a little loose.
Any alternatives besides a tie wrap?
