Just got off the pilots weather site .
Snow down to the valley floor tonite which varies between 300 ft and 600 ft elevation.
Also talked to one of my install crews about 20 mins ago and they had snow at about 800 ft elev. in the foothills outside of Fresno.

We had about 2 ft of fresh at 5000 ft when I left the house this morning.
If its snowing on the Vine chances are it will snow on 138.

Good Luck,

JT

Well boys and girls.

I made it back. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/piratenanner.gif)

Coming back was a breeze. No snow and light traffic. Actually made it in about 90 minutes. Going down was another story. Light snow flurries over the grapevine but about halfway to the 14 on 138 it started snowing like a bad mofo.

Thanks for all the positive thoughts...

It runs great. As I was loading it on the dolly I noticed one of the carbs was dripping gas. Tore it open and found a pinhole in one of the floats. Luckily the mechanic had an extra carb and we pulled the one out of it and buttoned it back up.

We expect a complete report when the weather clears. And a special event will be held when you AND AA are both running. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif)

Aaron said his car will be roadworthy when he gets out for spring break next weekend.

We need a Pacific Diner breakfast (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/chowtime.gif) and Palos Verdes cruise. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/driving.gif)
