if I have new 140# springs , torbo tie rods , new ball joints , and poterfield front pads -- and my money is now officaly dwendling
so the question is ..... I am planning on getting koni yellows -- do I have to buy all four at once or can I buy front / rears as sets with out issue -- and am I better off buying fronts or rears first ? |

what kind of shocks do you have right now in the rear?
if something sucky and rock hard like KYB's, replace those 1st and run the rear Konis at full soft....or I guess you could get the front Konis and run those at full hard..... main thing is that you do not want the rear suspension to be stiffer than the front, whether it be springs, swaybars or shocks.... |

i have the werid orange no marking shocks in the rear .. made in mexico?! .. someone had mentioned they may be made by ..mulholland?

boge shocks. i suggest getting the front end done first. having a tight rear suspension could lead to some tail happy situations (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/dry.gif) (i would know (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/sad.gif) ) what i had done first was go 140lb welt springs and adjustable bilstein shocks in the rear and havent really tinkered w/ the front end. Should've done the opposite. My upcoming plan is to install the stock front swaybar i acquired from a fellow member and then search for a stock rear bar.

oops .. I fogot I also have stock front and rear sways ---so it sounds like just buy the fronts first then sell my sole and then get the rears...

koni yellow are about 150 ea , thats why I have to hold off on one set
