I found this site which suggests purchasing this hose from a VW dealership.

I called my local VW dealership and they can order it. 5 meters of hose for $63. That comes down to $3.80/ft. The part number is N 020 281 1. The guy doesn't have any details about it though, can anyone confirm this is 7.5mm ID fuel injection hose?

I also found 7.5mm hose at here: http://www.international-auto.com/pdf_files/IAP12.pdf for $2.90/foot. I called and asked what brand, they said the only marking on the hose is NBR/CR. Acceptable?

That dealer hose is for late water-cooled's and is some of the best shit to use on FI, but why do you need 5 metre's of it?
I use hard lines everywhere that I can, then that hose.

Make sure you use FI clamps.

BTW because it's for water-cooled's it doesn't have the braided cover like the hose that came on the 914...it just looks like rubber hose.

I want to use this hose from the pump to the rails and back. Also for the rails to injectors. 5/16 feels a little loose on the pump. I know I don't need injection hose after the regulator, but i would prefer to use something that is the correct diameter. I already replaced the stock plastic fuel lines with hard brake line.

Argh... none of the dealerships I've called have this or can order it. The VW dealership gave me a quote on 7x3mm hose.

Sooo... can someone please give me a part # for a spool of 7.5mm fuel injection hose?

The real thing, smooth 7.5x3mm continental hose. I'd like to have 4 people buy at once. With priority mail, you're in it around 40 bucks.

DONSCO in San Carlos CA carries ALL of the correct German Fuel lines (high pressure and low pressure) + vacuum lines.

He caters to beetles, but has it all.

7.5 mm ID, 3 mm wall thickness. Sorry I was late getting this up ..... My worldpac rep was swamped this AM and couldn't immediately clarify the pricing for me. The Cap'n

Cap'n, I'm in for a set. I've just removed my fuel tank and will be sending it out for inspection and cleaning. I would like to replace ALL rubber fuel lines in the car (not replacing the plastic lines in the center tunnel). I'm assuming that the lines that you're providing in this post is for the engine compartment only.

Can you also get the larger diameter lines that I'll need? What is the dimensions of the larger hose, dia x wall thickness x length?

To recap, I would like all of the rubber fuel lines from the fuel tank to the injectors...

You can use 3/8" and 5/16" line to the fuel tank. Cap'n is selling injection line for use on teh pressure side of the injection system. It's good stuff, but a waste of money to put it on the low pressure sure (anywhere besides between the fuel pump and pressure regulator).

Thanks for clearing that up, this is the first FI 914 I've owned.
