Could it be a driving event with 914s if it didn't show us all doing what we do best: work on our cars in the most flattering positions possible.

Nascar has nothing on us doing a 14.7 second tire swap. Ok, it may have been a touch longer than that.

Jess Osterberg swapping his broken accelerator pedal with the one Bradster loaned him out of his poor beater.

And the money shot, seanv8914 doing some trackside tune up. sexy.

Yep. They don't have any shots of the three of us driving, except you waggin' your tail.

Joe- C Stock in PCA zone 8 speak is a fairly wide open category. There is a much more restrictive C Street Stock where all you could pretty much do to the car is update the tires (no Race Rubber, tho.) Street Stock you can't so much as change the exhaust tips. You are allowed max 2 points which means either tires or springs or non-stock sway bar, but not any 2 or all 3. It's such a restrictive class, I can't remember anyone running in it locally.

Stock however, we can run up to 8 points (which could mean, tires and shocks and springs and sways) and fiddle with the exhaust. Many more options and who the hell has a bone showroom stock car anyway? Those end up at the concours mostly.

Now my car (tangerine car at the top) has a lot more changes under the skin. My points total 34 which puts me in A Improved, which could be very fast company, but there aren't that many guys running in it yet, but several are being built up as I type. Next year should be a hoot!

My car still has some sorting and a bit more development before it's finished (as if!)

Yep. I was telling Birgit we can run a full race header on her car in CSS instead of the SSI's and the Bursch currently on her car. I also need to pull 80+lbs out of her car now that is not her daily driver.

I will have her closer to #1 in CSS very soon. I asked Dan Chambers and others if I could instruct... he signed me on and will do a "sign off" at the school in April. He also asked me to instruct in Time Trial.

Now I need to get Bir's car off the Kuhmo road racing tires and on some 710's!!

I had a blast with everyone. The Boxster will be out next time.

I swear Saturday Night Live a while back did a skit where they had a big car - IIRC Lincoln Town Car, though I was laughing so hard I can't remember - anyway, it was a car advertisement where the guy was so enamored with the car, he slid around to the back and dropped the license plate, and instead of a gas cap, it had 'female genitalia'. Then he just starts humping the car and I started crying I was laughing so hard.

Then my fiancee said I would probably do it to my car (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wacko.gif) Sensing some jealousy for "Tim-time" (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif)

this H Improved class 930 driver obviously did not spend his 20 or 40 points on suspension as whitnessed by his posted times. 914s did well this day.
