I've got a couple of transaxles (1 915, 1 901) that need some cleaning. I would like to media blast them.

Anyone have a reputable company they do business with in the South Bay Area?

Thanks,

Bill P.

This is the company that Britain used to do all his work. Warren also did all my engine tin which turned out very nice.

Oh, also he sand blasted my entire trailer before I had it painted.

Hey Bill,

It was Warren at Accurate Powdercoating 650-802-8180. He is up in Redwood City a couple of streets over from Hayden at WEVO. Hayden uses him all the time for blasting his tranny cases...it is an aluminum oxide process and looks great when done. Here is mine:

Let him know that I sent ya cause he still has some of my parts...

How much for the tranny?

And (I think you told me this already) how do you keep it clean, aside from not driving it....(HA HA), but who am I to talk?

After blasting is done, give it a liberal coat of WD-40. This will keep it looking good, especially if it is a mag case.

Will that work for fan shrouds too? (WD-40)

I just dropped off a BIG pile of stuff at Accurate today. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif) Warren is a very nice guy.
