So, my wife is a mobile notary and last night she goes out on a job, like she does every other night, except this time I get a call about an hour later. She calls me from the client's home and says they got to talking and the subject turned from financing the home to garages and cars, and when asked what kind of cars we have, she barely get the words "914" out and wahla.... the client says "he has a Nine Fourteeeeen?!"....

turns out it is one of the club members....... Jen!

Jen called me and we introduced ourselves and promised to go to the next breakfast gathering....Small world.

Hi Steve!

It is indeed a small world. We already knew Heidi worked for the same firm as Brian in the past. Then we got to talking about houses. When she said you were looking for a place where you could expand the garage, I thought to myself "Hm... a car enthousiast, no doubt." So I asked what cars you have. She mentioned the 'stang before the teener, then the 2002! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif) You've got yourself a keeper, she seems really supportive of your car addiction. Anyway, I'll put up a thread about our monthly breakfast here in a day or two, and hopefully we'll get to meet face to face!!

Cheers!

Jen

Imagine if you went to a breakfast gathering earlier.

Wow, that would have been cooler. you would have already known each other.

You never know where a 914 connection might happen. A few months ago I was looking for a new house. As we were looking at one place, my wife opened the door to the garage and found a beautiful 914-6 parked there. It was kind of like fate - except that we didn't buy that house.......
