So I'm watching House Hunters on HGTV last night and the featured family has a VERY NICE white 914 with 2.0 Fuchs in the driveway. This car looked great!

The couple were either from, or moving to Santa Clarita and the owner's name was John, wife was Roxanne and they have 3 kids.

The car just looked too good and too well taken care of for this guy not to be a member here. So are ya? John?

Ben,
I'm thinking about printing this thread and saving it....

(just teasing... I watched all of those shows too when we were buying/remodeling.... eventually the remodeling phase becomes old and you get back into cars. Which is the reason you may never have my permission to sell the red car)

First off, I just like those kinds of shows - I have always watched them even before I thought about buying a house. And you can quote me on that Brant - no shame here. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif)

Second, I have been working on cars solid for the last month. Not the 914, but cars nonetheless. There is always something to do.

And now that I am going to have a 2 car garage - there will be no need to sell the red car... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/cool.gif)

hey greg....

were going to have to get Ben to pick a different name than "barbie mobile"

because Ferg already called dibs on that name...

hmmm... what would a different name be?
perhaps "telley tubby mobile"

I dunno..
gotta keep thinking about it.

I was waiting for the peanut gallery to chime in (Greg), but didn't think you'd go that low...

And Brant...never expected this kind of treatment from you. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/WTF.gif) Greg, yes, he's the biggest asshole I know, but Brant???? (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wacko.gif)

So... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/finger.gif)

Screw you guys...I'm goin' home!

I don't know if I will be able to do the event.

I may be moving that weekend because I need to have everything out of the old place by the next weekend. It may be the only weekend I have before I need to be out.

It is still tentative, but I really need to figure out what I am going to do.

I may just drive down Saturday and come back in the evening and move my stuff on Sunday. It is looking like I won't be able to devote the entire weekend to the event.

Moving...into a house...that we are renting...

Still have a 2 car garage and a big shed with a stove in it that I'm going to put on Greg's front porch for his insensitive comments... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif)
