The PO put "new" shocks on the rear and had a set ready to be installed for the front. They are BOGE shocks painted yellow. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/chairfall.gif)
Anyway, I am in the middle of replacing ball joints and a TTR kit so I'm thinking of putting these shocks on the front. But is there a way to tell if these shocks are in good condition while they're out of the car? I can pull the shaft all the way up and push it all the way in, it offers more resistance the faster I do it. Is there anything I can do to see if these shocks are worth installing? |
