White GT1 had good fitting f'glass body panels, and powered by a 350" sbc into a 930 turbo tranny. Mid engined in a spec built tube frame. Lots'o cash in the project, but a real show stopper--parade laps only (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif)
Saw some old friends/ new friends out there today...and lots of 914Club hats (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/aktion035.gif) The banked portion of the course , coming out of the infield road course looked like a handful. I was there for a Redline event two weeks earlier, which used the infield course only. Photo taken at Redline event , Tarzan Yamada -veteran drifter and me. He says that the 914/ Porsche cult is big in Japan (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/beerchug.gif) Marty Attached thumbnail(s) |
