Jereon has done a wonderful job on all the event logos that I've seen, especially incorporating features from the area where the event happens. So I thought I'd submit a few photos that may provide some ideas for interpetation into a logo.
Thumb Butte is a pretty significant landmark in Prescott Here's another view of it Here are some photos of Sedona: http://www.experiencesedona.com/ http://www.experiencesedona.com/gallery/re...ock/default.htm http://www.sedonaaz.gov/sedona/gallery2.aspx It's hard to find photos of Jerome, the old mining "ghost town" http://www.connorhotel.com/history.htm http://www.connorhotel.com/jerome_arizona_...information.htm Here's some better ones http://www.ghosttowngallery.com/htme/jerome.htm I can't seem to find any decent shots of Yarnell Hill, but we've got to look for the "Congress Frog" at the bottom of the hill! Well, there is this Topo Map that shows just how twisty Yarnell Hill is. Just some ideas in case it's helpful. This post has been edited by ThinAir914: Mar 25 2006, 02:00 PM |
