VW bug shop or just use a standard battery cable from the auto parts store for a temp. cable.

My local NAPA carries braided ground straps that look 90% original (the ends are a little different, but the braid is the same). I use them all the time in a pinch.

Braided ones are the best to use. Generic ones are the same and just as good as factory (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif)
