More long repairs tomorrow, drivers side. I haven't followed these lines to where they go yet....but I'd thought I'd ask the forum before I dug in.

The fact that they're not connected would have affected?

Thanks,
Ray

Vent lines for the carbon canister next to the gas tank. one end comes from a port on the fan housing (early) or cyinder tin (Late) and air blows down the line to the charcoal canister in the front trunk. the other line comes from the canister to the the intake somewhere. evaporative system for gas fumes.

polution control. from the charcoal filter on the gas tank to the air cleaner. other one runs from the fan housing to the charcoal filter. No effect on performance - just a little hydrocarbons into the air.
