I have a set of 914 or 911 front control arms/torsion bars.

They have the factory sway bar clips. The ball joints look strange to me. How can I tell what they are?

I want to use them with some SC Bilsein struts on my '74 2.0. I will install new ball joints.

Is there any chance the correct ball joint will not fit in these arms?

The number of teeth on the 911 torsion bar is different from the number of teeth on the 914 torsion bar...I dont know the details, but I learned it the hard way.

different spline count (cannot remember which is which)

some 911 arms will have a fully enclosed "loop" for the swaybar.....

914 and some 911 arms will have no swaybar attachment method or will have a U tab welded to the top.
