I picked up a set of these carbs to replace the 44idf's the PO put on the car. The 44's were way too big for my humble 1.7.
Anyway, I'm messing around with the adjustments on the carb and I can't hear any difference in the way the car is idling. I can see rich exhaust. If you try to accelerate quickly the car falls on it's face, hard. There is a idle linkage adjust screw, that's a given. Then what I *think* is an idle air bypass on the side, and main jet on the top of the carb. There is a nut on the link to the accelerator pump too, I don't know if that is supposed to be adjustable though. I searched all over google, and there is literally no info on these carbs out there. I can get a pic if need be, I just want to make sure my assumptions are correct. If they are, it seems like these tiny are still too rich for my engine.
