I live in Everett and am wondering if there is a group of teeners in the North End that are looking to get together once in a while to talk, turn a wrench or go for a drive. I have a 73 2.0L. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

You live in Everett? Me too. You need to come over to see if you want anything out of my 914 pile before I dump it all. PM me as I always like to go grab a drink with a fellow teener.

Hey Chris... I have the air dam for you now if you want it.

Cool! Thanks Jon! I just got back from Mexico and am catching up on v and e mails. I will be around this week, so something Tuesday sounds like fun! even if it is just for the eye candy.

When and where are you guys meeting this Tuesday?

I might be down for some parts too... I'm still discovering my cars issues. Really its in great shape, but I do have some things I need to do to it. Fortunately it's all small stuff.

It's a yellow 73 2.0L with a recent rebuild, mild cam, hydraulic lifters. otherwise basically stock but strong running.

My top 5 list of things I need to fix are:
1. The horn does not work.
2. Fog lights do not work. (could just be the bulbs???)
3. Heater blower is not working. (wires on the motor are disconnected, and I can not find the loose end to plug them into.)
4. Window seals are in rough shape.
5. Hard to crank over / needs new ignition switch. probably not ACTUALLY related to each other. Engine just cranks slowly when starting... and you have to push in on the key to get it to engage the starter...

like everyone, I would like to do a bit of body work and paint. I would also really like to go through the suspension. Honestly though the car is in really good shape and I LOVE driving it!

I also have a 31 Ford I am doing some work to. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I don't know a lot of people in the north end because I moved here from Port Orchard about a year ago to take a job, so my wife and I are looking for some folks to hit the road with once in a while, get some dinner or just retreat ot the man cave and turn a wrench.
I have a lot to learn about the 914. I used to drag race a 69 beetle 2.0L but it is SO not the same! anyone who says a 914 is a VW is out of their mind!

I just realised I have to pick my daughter up after work on Tuesday and the wife works until 9PM. Any kid friendly places we could meet up like a olive garden, bobs burger and brew, etc... I'll be in Lake Stevens to pick her up so that area would be cool for me to. I don't know where you guys normally do this.

Umm.... Would it be possible to do in Snohomish or in Everett somewhere? The traffic going up North at that time is murder.

How about the Buzz in by the casino on I-5 right before the Boeing access freeway?

You mean the one right off exit 189.... right by my house... Chris? That works for me.... I am really okay with whatever. I just would rather not drive up North on 1-5 during rush hour if it can be avoided.

That would work for me too... I work right off the Boeing access freeway. What time is good for everyone? I could be there a bit after 6 probably.

Anyone got a address on the buzz in? I work right next to boeing... But I get off at 5 and am going to Lake Stevens and then back south... Should be there at at 6 or a few minutes after. I'll be in the yellow 73 2.0L.
