Anybody up for anything tomorrow?

I would like to link up with fellow 914 owners in the Seattle area. Just let me know when and where!

Sorry, just so excited. HAVEN'T HAD A GOOD VACATION IN 15 YEARS.
Spent 12k battling the ex in 2009. Had 6 cops killed in the line of duty in late 2009.

Life is too short not to feel the sand between your toes. I will catch up on another day. Spring/summer is built for Teener Tuesday! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

I drove the 914 in today so I'm up for meeting.

Troy, if it sounds like just a couple of north-end guys, maybe we should move it north so NORD doesn't have to drive so far?

Some place in Everett, theres a couple of cool little places down by the water front, Not Anthony's, but the little place close to it.

Or that place just next to the hotel, right on the dock.

I'm going out to the Sumas Kart track today to get some info.

for a future outing involving shifter karts and a Artist Point Party

When will the 914 BBQ be ready and can we tow it up to Lynden

for the weekend?

Me too. I also need to install a front sway bar.

I'll watch this thread today to see if I can make it. Anywhere north is fine if I can get away.

No, I have a factory bar with drop links and brackets but I probably need new bushings. It's a '74 2.0 so the tabs are on the A-arms. Obviously the tank has to come out and drilling and welding ensue.

Sounds like something we could do at my house once I have everything setup (IMG:style_emoticons/default/bye1.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/welder.gif)

Will this installation have anything to do with alignment? I'm having Tim Kornacki do an align this Saturday.

No, it's independant of alignment.

So who's in for something somewhere tonight? Headcount:

Root - Me
NORD
Jon?
Marc?
Troy?

I say if we can get at least 4 of us commited to meeting somewhere, let's do it!

Even if Marc brings his 914 up to Jons and we all stand around and watch them work on it. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Can't bring the car around until I have the couch out of there. Wife's rules (IMG:style_emoticons/default/screwy.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) . No, I would love to help with this though Marc and it will not harm your allignment at all.

Tonight I may be able to do something. I need to do a water pump on our Honda first though.

Here's a possible idea for tonight. Four years ago I bought Mahles w/new tires from a guy in Edmonds. He was also selling his 914 because of an ailment, don't know exactly what, that has left him wheelchair bound. He asked me to bring by the car to show it to him after I got it painted. I contacted him last week and am going out there late this afternoon with plans to get to wherever we decide to meet afterwards.

I would have to check with him to see if he's up to having a group of people show up, but I'm pretty sure he would be absolutely thrilled to have a bunch of 914 guys show up at his house. He has also recently purchase an Oly Blue '74 2.0 in unmolested original condition, just to have one.

We could grab a bite somewhere either before or after. What do you think?
