Was fun last night at Rich's with Chris and Jon.

On another note, I need a new windshield. Mine is plain worn out and it's now leaking.

Looking for a cost effective way to replace it. Any suggestions?

Paul

MS glass is the best place I have found for our windows.

HI PNW guys....

I'm looking for a decent front valance. Mine is so-so, but since car is getting painted I would love to find one that is in decent shape.

Anyone got one to sell?

I could look in the rafters of the garage, I know one is up there for a 74 but
its nice but not perfect. Will look this weekend (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif)

I replaced mine just before WCR'11 and my supplier had them for about $250 if memory serves me. Another $30-40 for a couple tubes of the black goo and I was done. I installed mine myself (but truthfully, I think I got REAL lucky that it fell into the exact right spot on the first stab (IMG:style_emoticons/default/shades.gif) ) It should be a two-man job to take luck out. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Seriously though, it's NOT as hard as folks will lead you to believe. It could be done on a teener-tuesday, though you better host as it would not be good to drive it until the sealant completely cures.

If you need new trim clips, get those first and have them on hand. I think it takes around 19-20 @ around $2.50 each from Pelican. A door panel tool and patients will ensure that the chrome is not damaged. That is truly the tricky part.

Ok, got the front hood hinges on, the rear hinges fitted and the j-west kit in and made molds for my front running/turn signals. Maybe throw some resin at them tomorrow.
Good day.

Got a new windshield at MS Glass off Greenwood ave. $300 installed. The old windshield literally feel out after he took out the trim. It's nice to see clearly out the front now.

Thanks for the help guys!!

It is going by way too fast. I need to get some stuff in paint here quick if I want to drive my car this year. I just got permission to use one of my friends shops to shoot (IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif)

I wish I had a garage to work on the teener ... the snow just blows through my carport!

I just need to get off my a$$ and finish the carport/garage conversion.

Cheers,

Cold in my garage 24 degrees. I gave up on trying to keep it

above 40 degrees with the kerosene heater. 16 outside and the

wind is blowing out of the North 25 - 35 MPH. I'm just adding

firewood to the stove and keeping the house warm.

That doesn't sound like a good job, maybe you better look for a new one (IMG:style_emoticons/default/poke.gif)

I did a small bit of playing in the garage. . . But all my tools are 20 miles away at my shop on the top of a hill (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif)

It's crazy; on snowy days I can get all but literally 50 yards from my shop since the road it's on steepens in the incline just before my business park. If I loose momentum, I can't make it and there's no place to park since it's an off-ramp from the hwy (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif) So I turn around and go 20 miles back home. . . (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) Oh well, at least we don't get snow often.
