I would be in for having something in the south end, but I will be on my honeymoon/vacation from the 6th through the 10th. I work at Boeing Field and live in Oly, but I could have my car back in Tacoma by 6:30 on most days. I'm not ready to drive it to work in all of that traffic until I get the side shift tranny put in this winter, so I'll have to run home to get it.

We'll see how my car does driving down to Lincoln City for the trip. Hopefully I don't have to spend the entire trip working on it (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I believe the 7th can be obtained for me too... I'd better get it on the calendar fast or I will lose it. Where's the destination to the south? 6:30 sounds good somewhere. is there a waterfront location that has good parking access?

or since we are going south are we limited to a trailer park? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif)

on week days southsounders only have to drive north before 2pm for a 6pm (still can be iffy) beer and burger to avoid the greater seattle commute nightmare. the 4th worst in the nation. then there's the upcoming Seafair festivities. throw in a sounders match or mariners game, and road construction/closures. it's just too much.

We could invade The Ram down on the Tacoma waterfront. Parking shouldn't be too bad on a Tuesday, outside seating, great beer and burgers. Not too steep on the prices either. Either that or someone's garage/driveway (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif)

There is also Johnny's dock across the Foss waterway from the glass museum...

I can provide "near" waterfront access, I also can provide a "trailer park" but we would need to drive to eastern Wa.

We live on the south end of Lake Sammamish in Issaquah, even Rhodyguy can get here easily if he takes the backroads(hgwy 18), I'll even let him stay overnight if he needs his beauty sleep. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/grouphug.gif)

I'll be delighted to host on the the 7th if we can get the guy's from the south and guys from the north to agree that traffic sucks! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/slap.gif)

BBQ and beer, a little bit of 914 stuff. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

I would love to come to one of these get togethers, I just don't trust my car yet for a long trip. Picked up some wierd hesitation after our monster rain showers last week and hoping I find the time this weekend to track it down and fix it. Really hope the complete tune up and valve adjustment snuffs it out. Just have this wierd feeling water got in the fuel tank or something crazy worse

Artist Point Drive!!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif)

Breakfast at My house at 9:14 then a spirited drive up to the top of

Mt. Baker. Latter in August would be best because there is still 20ft

of snow with 8ft walls around the parking lot. When thats all gone it

would be a great Drive again. Some of the Canadian 914ers could

come down also.

Just throwing this out because I will be making the runs anyway, Atleast

till they ticket me so much and impound my car. Nate can help do

breakfast with me. The Porsche Club is doing the run August 18th. departing

from the Wine & Cheese Factory up at Simiahmo Resort. The 914ers are

welcome to stay at my place that night if you would like.

Waiting for Toni from the Pennisula to chime in and see what kind of tour

he will take us on. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif)

They are actually attached to the side of the engine bay and carry water to the road.
