curt and i are going to have a nice relaxed breakfast at denny's off the same exit @9:45. be there or be 4x90* I have corresponded with a few of you and hail from the region till I hit 30 and had to find a real job that took me to the Midwest. I am out in Seattle in a hospital room visiting my 91 year old father. The last visit it turns out. Don't shed tears for me, I already have. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) But I would like to meet you guys. I remember when you could actually navigate through traffic to the triple x on the way to the pass. Are you guys meeting this Sunday, or did I miss it? I would be driving a ford festiva. I think it is about a one liter car. My dads car. I actually love it, but it could use a removal of the algae coat. How I miss real rain. |

Sat at Denny's off 405? I have to go north in the am. We should just dine in the bar. Not as crowded and then curt won't offend the service staff and other patrons with inappropriate behavior.

Julie is doing a girls weekend so I'm planning a 914 weekend. I'll be hanging around the garage working on the car. Anybody that has some extra time is welcome to come by and help out

Too hot. No shade. The heat will be brutal after the break for lunch. Better slather the kids with sun block.

Anyone up for a teener Tuesday? Nice cold beer or two sounds pretty good to me! North, south, or in the middle somewhere?

Middle, (below Seattle?), or south works for me.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif) Not sure when I am going though, not sure if I can handle 3 days in the sun and not melt. I need to look at their schedule. |

Kevin, I have made the 914 trip only once, to Walker's swap meet last year. I had planned on one trip, but the afternoon traffic kept me home.
Driving in Seattle is like driving in SF. Too many hills, too many cars - but I go up every now and then. |

How does Renton work? Anyone up to get together at the the landing in Renton?. There's a place called world of beer there that I've been wanting to check out.

I've heard from coworkers that World of Beers is a good spot. The Berliner off of exit 4 is also really good. Good selection of German beers on draft. Sadly, it will be a while until I can make another Tuesday meet.
On another note, I'm stuffing in the 2056 today. Hopefully I'll be driving her again this weekend. Its already been over a year! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) |
