Quite a turnout! I don't see many air-cooled though

We were out there... but no teeners. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/shades.gif)

PCA PNWR definitely has more water pumpers (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif)

Didn't see you Greg! Sadly no 914's, but over 100 Porsches in total.

Unfortunately, I was in a dealer loaner. Otherwise I would have been in my "hotrod" TDI Golf. Slowly chipping away at my engine rebuild. Hope to have the 914 on the road within the next month or so.

Was the SC yours, or just riding along?

Sweet! Yeah, the 1983 is mine.
We have a 1973 914 we've been working on and hope to have on the road soon too --- summer should be fun!

I came home and finished up the locks. Started the car and let the oil warm up. Got the windshield pulled and worked on bending the chrome trim to fit better. Need to get a hand putting the glass back in. I want to put it in straight this time.

Billy. For setting the windshield, look for something like Wood's Powr-grip suction tools at your local tool rental. The ones for curved surfaces. You and Julie could set the glass with a pair of them.

Hi Billy. I'd be happy to help you with that chore. I helped the body shop do the replacement on my LE. I have some of the chrome parts and clips if you need them.

Anybody local have a set of 2.0 STD rod bearings? I ordered a set of Kolbenschmidt from Pelican, but they won't ship for more than a week.

Sounds like the hotel is pretty much booked up for WCR. Might be one room left in the main hotel, and a second hotel is getting lined up.

Starting to formulate ideas for heading south as a group down the coast, splitting the trip into two days. Leaving Wednesday to go down, and a similar deal coming back north leaving Sunday. Will probably start a separate planning thread when I get some stuff more solid. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif)

hey folks. i'm down near portland oregon, but haven't been involved in PNW meetups for quite awhile. with a little more time on my hands these days, i'd be interested in meeting other enthusiasts for drives and shows and such.

Would be great to get back to a semi-regular meet-up. Maybe move it around a bit north and south to get more of us out. Traffic has turned into a N/S nightmare compared to how it was when Troy kicked this thread off.

Beautiful '75, Aaron! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/drooley.gif)

Cannot occupy garage without railing.

Anyone have a local fabricator that can make railing for stairs and a small loft?

Thanks… just thought I’d ask (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I just used Iron Design Center for a long sweeping railing for my church.
I chased down quite a few folks and they were the quickest and most most cost effective.

But obviously, it may vary based on your application
