i know there are about ten guys up north, seattle to marysville that need to get together now that there is some sun light after six pm. so we could meet up at some establishment for food and drink and bench racing.
we could come up with a regular spot or some one could pick a new place every week or biweekly that they would like to turn us on to.

wudda think guys?

He was such a nice guy. More than generous with his lift time and an extra set of hands. For some locals, they skipped the exhaust shipping $ and hassle, drove down, put the Porsche on the lift, and installed the new muffler.

I did that myself on more than one occasion. Dave cut the rear valence to match right there on the spot as well. I can remember quite a few visits of just hanging out and lending a hand if he was working on something outside the welding room.

There's a slight chance my plans may shift on Saturday. Will definitely head down for a bit if I'm able.

I had expected to see some information here about anyone going to WCR and didn't realize it was coming up until someone posted Groit's on June 3rd. A good option for those that can't go too far.

Who's in for Groit's Porsche day?

I'll be there probably in my 3.2L conversion. The Olympic Peninsula Region is organizing an early morning cruise from Gig Harbor to Griot's Garage. You are welcome to join us.

Then we'll head over to LeMay ACM for a presentation on the 917 and Porsche's history at LeMans which starts at 10:30 (I think) which will be a good chance to check out their Porsche at 75 years display.

Planning to be at Porsche Bellevue C&C as well as Griot's on the 3rd.

Also coming up in the distance on July 2nd from noon to 3:00 is the Porsche club meet at Black Raven Brewing in Woodinville. Pretty massive showing last year with perfect weather. Group6ix will be printing shirts on site as well. Pic from last year:

Hi Teener Peeps --

Bit of a stretch ... .but I'm looking for a set of early phone dials or cookies for my 944.

I'm trying to get a second set to run a taller tire. Doing the NW Rally in the 944 which has been fun, but not fun with stock ride height.

Don't need anything perfect, but something that I can swap out.

Many thanks
Greg

feel free to text me at 206- 4four 8Eight 4four - 9296

Not going to be able to meet up, but I can give a shout out to a Fullerton guy. I grew up in Fullerton from '59-'76, near the corner of Raymond and Chapman. We had an orange grove in our backyard back then. Got my first 914 in Buena Park.

Just drove by the site of the NEW Porsche dealership a stones throw from one of my old haunts THE Cycle barn, which was torn down just a couple weeks ago.
It looks pretty modern.

Porsche themed Caffeine and Gasoline at Griot's Garage in Tacoma this Saturday from 8-10am. Lot fills pretty quick with a wide variety of other makes, so early birds get the worm for parking. Coffee and donuts provided, and live limited edition T-shirt printing by Group6ix.

For those interested, there's also a smaller Tacoma Cars and Coffee at Titlow Park from 10-11am that can have a pretty interesting mix of cars as well. Usually more enthusiast-based than the typical Pcar crowd. Cars gather in the larger lot closer to the playground.

Griot's Garage
3333 S 38th St
Tacoma, WA 98409

Titlow Park
8425 6th Ave
Tacoma, WA 98465

More events coming up. Cruise-in at LeMay in Tacoma on Thursday from 5-7:30. Thursday also happens to be the 75th anniversary of the first Porsche car to be approved in Germany if you're looking for a good excuse to get your cars out. That leads to events this Saturday. All three of the major dealerships in the Puget Sound area will have 75th anniversary celebrations. Porsche Tacoma & Porsche Bellingham will hold theirs from 11am-3pm, and Porsche Bellevue will have theirs in the evening from 5:30pm-8:30pm. Bellingham is anticipating a larger crowd and will start parking and setup at 8:30am. All three dealers are having some form of catering/food trucks.
