Sorry,

Not tonight. Wife is out of town on business. Kids need parental support and the teener is still on jackstands getting new rear wheel bearings, six bolt 951 CV joints, 911 hubs & Phase 9 mufflers.

Sounds like a great place for a gathering ... not to mention great weather.

Great food and conversation.
I learned more about those little rust bubbles by the door handle and how I might have to cut half the side panel and sail panel out to fix it. Oh well i'm statrting to look for winter projects.
I had my camera and forgot to take it out. Next time.
Did I say the food was good. Traditional southern south american. Reminded me of my days in Brazil.
Let's try the Tacoma area next week. The hour and a half home was not too bad.

What did you have in mind? If the teener's running before then (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif) I'll most definately be there.

QUOTE(RockinOldSchool @ Oct 12 2006, 01:24 AM) *

How about trying the Ram in Puyallup this week? I ask because it's somewhere that I can easily limp my car to. Need to check/set my A/F ratio and fuel pressure.

Geoff, any chance you'd be willing to partake in a South end meet? Was wondering if I might be able to have you set my A/F ratio for me and help me check/set my fuel pressure. You'd mentioned you have the Janbo unit and Jim thought you have a fuel pressure tester.
The help would be greatly appreciated.

I won't be able to run south as I have burnt up all my "meet" chips.....gotta go to Zachs Boy Scout meetings sometimes too on Tuesdays.

YOur AFR should be set correctly if all the correct stock parts are installed...

review your part numbers for MPS, ECU, CHT

Janbo is at Aker's as he is using it on a 914 to sort out a FI problem....should be free next week. Sounds like a ground problem to me when I talked to him.

For those from the South end, well anyone that's interested actually, Jim and I will be meeting up at The Dock Street Landing Bar & Grill in Tacoma tomorrow evening at about 7pm. We can make it a South end meeting for anyone that's interested.

Mapquest.com has good directions.

Here's the address:

535 Dock St, Tacoma, WA

When following the mapquest directions, once on Dock St. the parking lot will be at the far end of the first building on your left.

Hope to see some of you there.

Kevin - can you bring one/both of your light switches with you? The one I picked up doesn't work either (IMG:style_emoticons/default/WTF.gif) and I'd like to try a third switch before I assume that its something other than the switch.

Thanks
Morgan

Hey guys, had a great time as always.

kevin, just wanted to once again say thanks for the rain tray and drain tubes. the tray's already on and the tubes are going on tomorrow afternoon.

Now that the car's doing good mechanically it's time for me to finish my targa seals and start sourcing my missing heater parts. My beanie really doesn't make the best defroster. LoL

Hope to see you all again soon.

How about a Teener Saturday?

IRDC Lapping Day at Bremerton Raceway next Saturday 10/28/06.

Great bargain and I know most Teener owners are into bargains - $60! All you need is a helmet and a valid drivers license. A 914 wouldn't hurt either.

Hope to see you there. We can always finish up at the Tides in Gig Harbor afterwards.

Hope to see you there!

What time? I may be able to make it. I am going to Port Orchard that night for a Halloween party, so its just a matter of $$$ and a helmet for me and my girl since I will be out that direction.
