randy if you call the dmv sit on hold for an hour, speak very nicely to the lady on the other line she may, may give you the info your looking for, tell her/him that your looking at buying a vehicle but the owner doesn't have any title for it, you will need the VIN #, and they should be able to give you the info your looking for. George
