Is there anything 914 related going on in LA on those days?
Anyone want to get together for dinner? I am going there for a training class, so I will have evenings free. |

If your gonna be in Chino on Friday then I can probably have dinner with cha. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) Besides, it would be nice to have someone my height around. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) so which night in LA or friday morning in chino? thursday or friday work for me Toasty one.. it would be an honor to have dinner with you. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smiley_notworthy.gif) And Aaron, either night, or even both is fine with me. Oh and RON... When people are created, they all start out with the same allocation of mass. I am only 5'6" tall, and I am 150lbs.... I will leave it to you to figure out where the REST of MY mass is. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/owned.gif) lisa might take you to her knitting classes I don't knit A-aron! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) I have much more "interesting things" to show Clay (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif).................................... Long Beach has a lot of nice tourist attractions (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) Lisa (IMG:style_emoticons/default/whistle[1].gif) |

Tomorrow evening is fine.
Just let me know where. I don't know (IMG:style_emoticons/default/stromberg.gif) about where a good restaurant is in this area. And let me know how to get there. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/chowtime.gif) Now I am going to get on Mapquest and find an In-and-Out burger for dinner tonight.... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/chowtime.gif) |

Clay: There is a way good Pastrami at Jonny's on Supelveda near Venice Blvd. I drive up about 3 times a year to have one. The Shack at the end of Jefferson Blvd has great burgers and serves cocktails. Not sure when I'm going to come up.

shoehorn and some butter - it fits Group: Members Posts: 1,547 Joined: 23-January 06 From: Broomfield, CO Member No.: 5,463 Region Association: None |
Now I am going to get on Mapquest and find an In-and-Out burger for dinner tonight.... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/chowtime.gif) There was one at the NorthEast corner of the LAX property on Sepulveda - coulda hit it when you left!! There all over, so it is easy to find one in SoCal. Johnny's is great, but expect to lay around the hotel all night wondering how you ate all that food! Tito's is right behind it - another "legendary" spot in the Culver City area. A popular get-together place in the Santa Monica area is El Cholo - pretty tasty Mexican food. Parking can be a beotch if you don't valet though - I usually park back in the residential area and walk a couple blocks just cuz I am anal about valets f'ing up my truck. I wouldn't expect a Tuesday night to be too crazy, but you never know... El Cholo Restaurant 1121 S Western Ave Los Angeles, CA 90006 (323) 734-2773 (323) 734-0276 (Fax) Cross Street: West 11th Street Otherwise in the South Bay area, there is some decent cajun in Hermosa Beach (Rajun Cajun) on Pier Ave with bars nearby, inexpensive sushi that is pretty good at a place called Oki Doki off Sepulveda (f'd up name but good). Cheap, easy, and $1.25 beer-of-the-month at Wahoo's Fish Taco in Manhattan Beach down by that pier. I hit that place probably twice a week for blackened fish enchiladas. More fast-foodish than "sit down" if you know what I mean. There is also a Pomodoro in MBeach just up from the pier that is alright for Italian food. |

Johnny's Pastrami is on the corner of Sepulveda and Washington PLACE
Tito's Tacos is on the same block, just a little west of Johnny's. Otom is an all-you-can-eat sushi place (and its damn good too) On Sepulveda north of Washington across from Swiss Motors. The El Cholo Address listed above is NOT for Santa Monica, but it is for the one south of K Town (not the nicest neighborhood). There are a few decent Italian places on Venice, west of you too. Maybe tomorrow or Wednesday? What kinda food you like? |

Johnny's... Rocks. Seriously. Try it.
I can't drive out to LA. Maybe when you head closer this-a-way we can put together a SoCal dinner. There's gotta be a hooters somewhere around Chino. |
