Does anyone know how sensitive the factory DME units are (this is for a '92 3.6 DME)? I know the factory out it under the drivers seat, but I'm wondering if the rear trunk or a heat isolated section of the engine compartment would be acceptable?

I was told that they were heat sensitive, and that inside the cabin was the only option when installing my 3.2.
Mine was located behind the pass seat against the firewall, still allows the pass seat to be almost fully pushed back. Ferg. |
