still need to buy a clock mechanism from the hobby shop.
and use a center cap for it... plus a ton of grinding and a shot of fresh paint are needed: Attached thumbnail(s) |

Mind if I ask why you didn't just cut the wheel in half, keeping the front lip of the rim surrounding the piece you cut out? thats what i did on my mahle clock, and phantom914 is doing on my fuch clock (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |

Mind if I ask why you didn't just cut the wheel in half, keeping the front lip of the rim surrounding the piece you cut out? don't mind the question at all. basically didn't due that due to rim condition. car must have slid into a curb because the outer lip was trashed in more than one place. heavily bent..... so decided to use the center only, which still looked decent. brant |

I would have wanted to straighten the lip, sand out the scratches and repolished.. so its easier to fight the urge by just cutting it off and throwing some fresh paint at it brant |
