Hi guys,

I am after some slightly larger diameter cam chain idler wheels to take up the slack in the chain when I up the compression. Does anyone over there know who makes/sells them?

How

Your not really supplying enough info.

What year 911 engine?

Lowering the deck height to raise the CR is NOT the way to get increased CR on a 911 engine. If you machine to much from the heads, the tensioners run out of stroke and you get into all sorts of problems.

A real inexpensive part of a good 911 rebuild is to replace all the ramps, the chains, and update to post '80 idler arms. Money well spent

An easy way to increase CR without fucking up the chain geometry is to offset bore the connecting rod small end. have some larger wrist pin bushings mader and they can be offset reamed as well to get some CR..

Another way to increase CR is to get some high compression Mahles or JE's

Larger dia chain wheels are a bandaid

If you have to have them......Ask for Ted (he will probably answer the phone) Ted does all of our 911 heads and twin plugging.
